10/31/26 – Shooting Competition

$15.00

A few times each year, when there’s a 5th Saturday on the calendar, 4K Firearms Training hosts a small, friendly, and informal shooting competition. A few times each year, when there’s a 5th Saturday on the calendar, 4K Firearms Training hosts a small, friendly, and informal shooting competition. These matches are designed to give shooters a chance to have some fun, build their skills, and practice shooting under the pressure of a timer.

Each match typically includes four to five stages featuring a combination of pistol and/or rifle, with the occasional shotgun stage. Each stage is timed using a standard shot timer, similar to what you would experience in a typical shooting competition.

Matches begin at 10:00 AM and generally run for about four hours. Anyone available to help with setup is encouraged to arrive around 9:30 AM.

Plan for approximately 20–30 rounds per stage, with total round counts not exceeding:

  • 100 pistol rounds
  • 100 rifle rounds
  • Approximately 20 shotgun shells, when applicable

Scores are kept, but the atmosphere is relaxed and focused on safe shooting, practical training, and friendly competition. The only thing on the line is bragging rights!
